Every reader has favorite authors, and the Arkansas Literary Festival, a project of Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) is expanding the Writers Garden to show central Arkansas readers' favorite authors.
A fundraiser for the Arkansas Literary Festival, the Writers Garden pffers tiles showing a reader's name with their favorite author. The Writers Garden is located at the Main Library, 100 Rock Street, and tiles will be displayed around the fountain featuring the Icarus statue as well as around the borders of the flower beds and walkways. Tiles purchased as a gift will be acknowledged with a note to the honoree or their family.
